FUELWOOD PERMITS NOW AVAILABLE "Fuelwood permits will be sold all year on the Safford Ranger District at the District Office, 711 14th Avenue, Suite D in Safford Arizona from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The permit cost is $5.00 per cord with a $20.00 minimum for softwood, $20.00 per cord for hardwoods. Collection areas are in the Pinaleño and Galiuro mountains. Maps will 9 be provided with permits. Fuelwood may be cut all year, but each permit is only 0 valid for 3 months at a time.
